Company Management
Maurice Thomas started Thomas Services in 1993 and in doing so he fulfilled his dream of being an entrepreneur. Since then, Maurice has managed to acquire lottery vending machine contracts with the Georgia Lottery Corporation, the District of Columbia and through the formation of another business, Tennessee Vending Services, he also worked with the Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation.

Over the years, Thomas Services has benefitted greatly from partnering with larger gaming companies and working as a subcontractor to various state lotteries. In that same vein, the Company is very open to forging similar alliances with local small businesses in the communities it serves.

In January 2010, Mr. Thomas announced the formation of his latest efforts at forging new, local alliances to create new business opportunities in the gaming industry. Texas Vending Services LLC is a newly formed corporation co-owned and co-managed by Mr. Thomas and Mr. Barry Bowens.
Barry Bowens is the majority owner and Co-Chairman of Texas Vending Services. He is a long-standing resident and respected business professional in the Dallas, Texas community. Over the past 15 years, he has held senior management positions in investment banking and the investment management arena. He was a member of the senior financial and operations management team of a manufacturing company in the aviation & defense-contracting arena. He is a graduate with honors of Harding University and earned his MBA degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Bowens is also actively involved in community arts and benevolence programs. He has served as business committee chair for Camp Sol, a Dallas-based non-profit organization for bereaved families.
Mr. Thomas and Mr. Bowens are former business colleagues who have, once again, joined forces. As two seasoned professionals with over 41 years of business experience across various industries, these two are excited and optimistic regarding their joint pursuit of new business opportunities in the State of Texas.
