In 2004, Maurice Thomas seized the opportunity to expand the company's reach by pursuing an opportunity with the newly formed Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation. He created a unique, strategic partnership which combined: (1) his extensive experience working with state lotteries; (2) the presence of a highly respected, local business professional and (3) another business professional with extensive operational and management experience in the food services industry. Tennessee Vending Services LLC was created. Mr. Thomas became the majority owner and Manager and the company provided its services to the Tennessee Lottery from its inception until early 2009.
